May 13, 2025 – It was a day filled with insight, inspiration, and innovation as students from the Biomedical Engineering Student Club (BMESC) of Universiti Malaya (UM) visited Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani, Hospital Pakar Kanak-Kanak UKM , hosted by Serveco Sdn Bhd. The visit offered a valuable opportunity for aspiring biomedical engineers to deepen their understanding of real-world healthcare operations and the impact of medical technologies in pediatric care.

Welcomed warmly by the HPKK and Serveco teams, the students dove into a session that showcased how engineering solutions directly contribute to improving patients’ lives. From sophisticated medical devices to day-to-day hospital operations, the visit bridged the gap between theoretical classroom learning and practical application in a clinical setting.

This initiative reflects Serveco’s continuous support for educational engagement and industry exposure, empowering the next generation of biomedical engineers to innovate with empathy and purpose. As healthcare and technology become more intertwined, these visits are crucial stepping stones for students envisioning a better future in medicine.
