Datuk Haji Zainal Abidin bin Haji Ahmad embarked on his professional journey in 1981 by joining the Sarawak Civil Service. In 1987, he transitioned to the private sector, where he has since played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of Zecon Group.

He brings to the table an impressive academic background, holding a Master of Arts degree in Management from the University of Kent at Canterbury, England, along with a University Diploma in Accounting from the same prestigious institution. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He was first appointed to the board of directors on July 28, 1994.

Under his leadership, the Group has embraced a dynamic diversification strategy in recent years, propelling it forward in an ever-evolving business landscape.

Haji Zainurin bin Haji Ahmad has been a dedicated member of the Board of Directors since June 12, 1998, initially joining as a Director and subsequently transitioning to Executive Director on April 16, 1999. His commitment to the company was further exemplified by his appointment as Deputy Managing Director on June 1, 2008.

Prior to joining Zecon, Haji Zainurin spent 13 years honing his skills in the financial and commercial sectors, culminating in his final position as General Manager of Advance Finance Berhad.

He holds a Master of Commerce Degree in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Indiana Institute of Technology in Indiana, USA, and a Diploma in Business Studies from Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Faizarul Izuan Madznan joined Zecon Medicare Sdn. Bhd. November 1, 2021 as the Head, Asset & Facilities Management and was later appointed as Executive Director for ServeCo on October 1, 2022.

His experience prior to Zecon Medicare includes leading the operation team for Women and Child Hospital Kuala Lumpur as Facility Manager, being a Medical Equipment Coordinator for Serdang Hospital Project and leading the Facilities Management team for Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

At PHKL, he was involved in setting up the facility and safety standards for PHKL’s new services, including Water Birth, Pain Care Centre, and Children Premier Ward. He was also the Malaysia Parkway Pantai Group Internal Auditor for JCI and MSQH accreditation for all the fourteen hospitals under the group and also the Panel for the CIDB Healthcare Facility Management Module.

Faizarul Izuan holds an MBA from University of Strathclyde, UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical-Medical Electronics) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is also the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager from International Islamic University Malaysia, a Certified Energy Manager from Asean Energy Management Scheme, and a registered engineer under the Board of Engineer Malaysia.

Saifbudin Hannif Baba started his career with Zecon Medicare Sdn Bhd April 2, 2018 as the Lead Consultant for Technical and Procurement, and later held position as General Manager and the Division Head Support Services. He was appointed as Executive Director for ServeCo on October 1, 2022.

His extensive experience includes being a Project Engineer Biomedical involved with building 12 Nucleus Concept Hospital throughout Malaysia in 1992. As a consultant for Vamed Malaysia in 1995, he participated in numerious hospital construction projects including Hospital Shah Alam, Prince Court Medical Centre, Hospital Sungai Buloh, and Institut Kanser Negara.

He was also involved in developing the technical documentation to evaluate Hospital Facility Management and Services Assessment Procedures to audit Cleaning and Linen & Laundry Services, as well as being a Projects and Management Representative for MS ISO 9001:2008 Certification, CIDB Sijil Perolehan Kerajaan and Medical Device Authority (MDA) Establishment License.

Saifbudin Hannif Baba holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Renssaelaer Polytechnic Institute, USA and Vocational Assessor and Facilities Management from Knowledge Pool, UK. He is also the certified Trainer, International Certificate in Training Skills City and Guilds of London Institute, a registered engineer under Board of Engineer Malaysia, and a member of Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia.
